Marble Weddings was founded in 2009 by Wayne Alldridge, WPICC.
"What is 'WPICC'?" It stands for the 'Wedding Planners Institute of Canada Certified'. Having a passion for planning events, I just knew that I had to pursue this field. I received my certification through WPIC at the University of Toronto in 2009. I was enthralled with the wedding industry and quickly got the business started, founding Marble Weddings. The business of weddings is a $4 billion per year industry here in Canada, with a lot to learn about becoming a wedding vendor. To educate myself in the industry, I've continued to attend seminars and take additional courses and online webinars. Including becoming one of the first Canadian wedding planners to become certified in same-sex weddings, via 14 Stories. While consulting, planning, designing, and coordinating weddngs, I discovered a developing trend that I took a fancy to... Candy Buffets! Taking something as simple (yet yummy) as candy, and transforming it into a beautiful display - what a great idea. And the guests, young and old, are loving it too. Being a vendor in designing and creating Candy Buffets and Sweet Tables really allows my creative site to emerge. Whether it is providing a Candy Buffet, coordinating a wedding day, or simply consulting with a happy couple, I love all aspects of what I do.
